PART 1
- Mechanical engineering deals with anything that moves, including the human body, a very complex machine. Mechanical engineers learn about materials, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, control, instrumentation, design, and manufacturing to understand mechanical systems.
- Professor Robert Avanzato studies robotic engineering and has done Acura Research Projects in the past.
PART 2
- One concept I find very intriguing is actually manufacturing these models to understand the mechanical systems.
- A mechanical system manages power to accomplish a task that involves forces and movement.
- If I had to devote a long time to studying something in this field, it will probably be:
- Physics
- Electrical Energy Conversion
- Elements of Mechanical Design
- Principles of Design
I'm a fan of having a bunch of parts come together to make something, I find it really interesting. I also like the topics you chose to research about. I'm just curious about how they not only fit into mechanical engineering, but also how they could all come together to create something.
