The different kinds of annotations I did were underlining and giving thoughts on the bold sentences that stood out on the paper than the actual text, and underlined some things in the text that seemed more repetitive so I will know that it is something important to process in my mind. If I can categorized the annotations I did, it will be 1) bold quotes on the side of the text, 2) repetitive information in the passage 3) anything on the paper that indicates a rhetorical device so I can understand what the writer is trying to tell their readers. Alyssa highlights both concepts of the writing and jots down info on the differences of the concepts. Mashur puts bullet points on things that are important, brackets stuff that he can get something out of as far as learning.
What a bunch of star annotators in this class! It is very important to take note of repetitive information. Definitely clues you into what the authors most important messages are.
